Shhhh! Digital Media originated from the ashes of my own blog started in 2012, which offered a variety of content, including the two flagship stories that I wrote, which are now hosted on Shhhh! Digital Media: The Butterfly Dragon and Tales of the Sanctum (formerly A Lady’s Prerogative), as well as other novellas and short stories as a venue to showcase my work as a writer and content producer.
In 2014, I merged all of my ambitions under the brand Shhhh! Digital Media. With the fan base for both Butterfly Dragon and A Lady’s Prerogative (now Tales Of The Sanctum: A Lady’s Prerogative) growing enormously. The sites that culminated in Shhhh! Digital Media between 2012 and 2018 produced 90,000 distinct views, from a standing start with no advertising. Shhhh! Digital Media recently arrived at 130,000 distinct views in a course of 4 years, again, with no advertising, though advertising is a part of the strategy for the future.
Currently Shhhh! Digital Media sits at 680,000 + X unique views, and is rapidly growing and that is from an unadvertised or unoptimized start in 2012 with a text and image only website, with zero viewers.
What does Shhhh! Digital Media offer as a web site?
Stories. Inspiration. A growing smorgasbord of media, which is expanding, with a focus on the aspect of various story telling mediums. Interactivity is certainly one of the destinations, but for such experiences you need a good foundation of stories. In a universe inhabited by the Butterfly Dragon and the Sanctum Seclorum, the ancients speak of mysteries and of a mystic goddess who cradles the world protectively in her arms, the strands of her wispy hair being the Milkyway galaxy itself.
A universe where two eternal dragons dance over the fate of the universe watching carefully as humankind struggle to make it past an invisible wall that has stopped dead every chance of progress, leaving the living universe in an unending loop of life and death which they may never make it past. A universe derived from real science at the very forefront of the latest theories, and yet so far beyond. A universe of different planes of existence, not unlike the Marvel Multiverse or DC’s Megaverse, but certainly distinctly different from them in an infinitude of ways.

Shhhh! Digital Media is a business focusing on the development of creative properties and media, with a responsibility to the causes it supports and advocates for. Always giving credit and gratitude where it is due, while defending the values it espouses.
Who Is Shhhh! Digital Media?
Shhhh! Digital Media is the brainchild of writer and content producer Brian Joseph Johns, a self described secular atheist agnostic who leans toward Buddhism, Taoism and Shintoism for their philosophical and esoteric perspectives of existence. Admittedly, the universe is obviously beyond the confines of trying to squeeze it into a single encompassing cookie cutter description and that is exactly the same way that I think about the Shhhh! Digital Media universe.
Who Is Brian Joseph Johns?
The creator of Shhhh! Digital Media, currently its sole content producer, writer, artist, programmer and composer, unless specifically credited otherwise in corresponding posts. Brian combines his experiences from a wide variety of disciplines to create and expand the vision of the Shhhh! Digital Media universe via story telling. Brian has been doing this full time since 2010, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, eventually expanding into other multimedia territory. Who knows what the future may hold.
