Nothing on Shhhh! Digital Media is written by AI though on the odd occasion I might use a spell checker or even a grammar checker.
However, I absolutely encourage artists of all kinds who are not writers or who are afraid or intimidated to write, to use their images or music or photography to drive AI writing that is seeded with the prompt of their artwork, so that they can use such writing as an extension from which to develop their own brands or further expand upon their ideas.
AI is definitely a game changing tool, and one that I embrace. I use it quite often to enhance the 3D rendered artwork that drove my character designs from years ago and recently have used it to further bring my character designs to life.
When it comes to the creative properties of others', I've never taken anyone else's written or creative work and claimed or published it as my own and that includes selling it under any guise.
I did have a published author friend of mine send me some unpublished manuscripts for two or three of his early stories (published), but for this risk of creating a situation where I might be accused of publishing someone else's work, I didn't read the stories and I promptly erased them from my inbox and I likely will never allow myself to be put in such a situation again.
Recently, with my signing on for the Star Citizen Free Fly, I had the gremlins around me remind of that situation given the name of the website that you register for Star Citizen is called Roberts Space Industries... (the author's first name being Robert...)
There's a risk present when you receive creative works from other artists or potential collaborators that have not been published. With only you and the other party knowing the content there within (if you view it), at some point in the future, that association might be used against you and even to take your own creative works from you, especially if you achieve financial success with your own creative properties. Someone might use their association with you to lay claim to your work, or at the very least, attempt to sew the seeds of mistrust in that direction. I've observed that there are ideologies that use dualism to pit two people against each other and take everything good from one and leave the other with the worst. It is best to be cautious of such groups, hence why I am not a member of any such thing.
Credibility as a writer is very important, especially when it comes to the ownership of one's own stories and writing and believe me, there are many people who attempt to create the illusion that someone else is the author, and then attempt to get others on board to support that same illusion, even though this is something I'd never manifest in a billion years. There are people whose sole effort in life is to sew the seeds of mistrust between others, again something I'd never manifest, but it appears to happen.
Hence, I am very cautious about such scams, even when suggestions are offered from friends and people I know, as I've seen such situations turn sour. At some point you have to trust someone though, but its important to be aware and to give that trust carefully.
I believe that all creativity will eventually merge and every creator will have access to the tools that will allow them to quickly create many different kinds of media and experiences. At that point, it will all come down to a good concept and story, and those ideas have been a part of us since the first neanderthals told stories around campfires and wrote them in pictograms on cave walls.
Of course, nothing I've stated here is intended as the opposite of what I expressed as I'm not a member of any such ideology who would do such a thing, and this post certainly isn't sarcasm. I'm certainly not a member of any cult that would steal or replace another person's identity.
I'll be publishing some more new content soon, and attempt to maintain the momentum I have with Two Butterflies, Night Boat and We Who Stand On Guard. I've already got something in the works for the other side...
See you soon :-)
